113 SELDEN B.⁵ (Isaac⁴, George³, John², Johannes¹), son of Isaac and Anna (Brainerd) Oatman, was born at Arlington, Bennington County, Vermont, 26 May 1802, and died at Hartford, Washington County, New York, 24 March 1880, at the age of 78. He married Orra (#354), daughter of Benjamin and Lodice (Wilson) Oatman, a third cousin. Both are buried in Old Hartford Cemetery, Hartford, New York.

The family settled in Hartford, New York, after 1830. In that year, they were still in Arlington and living with them was a male aged 10-15, whose identity is unknown.
