1642 ORLIN ELISHA OATMAN

1642 ORLIN ELISHA⁷ (Isaac H.⁶, Elisha⁵, Isaac⁴, George³, John², Johannes¹), son of Isaac H. and Charlotte (Chapman) Oatman, was born at Argyle, Washington County, New York, 10 February 1853, and died at Salem, Washington County, New York, 28 March 1935 at the age of 82 years.

In 1880 Orlin was living with his brother Isaac Benjamin in Belcher, New York, and was a clerk in a store. O. E. Oatman is listed in the West Hebron Directory, 1901-2, as being in "groceries and dry goods." He married Emma Case, born at Peru, Clinton County, New York, 29 October 1862. The family settled at Salem, New York.
