He was born 2 June 1878 in Black River, New York, and died 9 June 1940 in
Watertown, Jefferson County, New York.
He married Marian
"Minnie" Jimeson (also seen as Jimerson) on 1 July 1898 at Adams, New
York. She was born in Adams on 4
November 1881, the daughter of James H. “Jimerson” and Mary O’Brien of Adams,
New York. She died on 1 September
1935. Both are buried in Elmwood
Cemetery, Adams, New York
Edward spent his
youth in Black River, New York, moving at the age of twelve to Adams Center,
New York. He lived there for thirty
years and was employed with the New York Central Railroad as section foreman,
per his obituary. In the 1910 census, he
was listed as superintendent of a milk station in Adams, New York. He was a member of the Rising Sun Lodge,
F&AM, Adams.
