Ruth (Thomas) Oatman, was born at Hartford, Washington County, New York, in
1815 and died in 1894 at the age of 79 years.
He married in
Hartford, New York, Hester, daughter of John and Laura Northrup, born in 1823
in New York and died in 1905, both being buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
John was a
shoemaker West Hebron, Washington County, New York. In 1850 his wife is listed as
"Ann", but was shown as Hester in 1860. By 1900 she was widowed, age 76, living in
Hebron Township, Washington County, New York.
