309     GILBERT EDWIN OATMAN

 

 

309      GILBERT EDWIN6     (Dyer5, Samuel4, George3, John2, Johannes1), son of Dyer and Clarissa (Beebe) Oatman, was born at Arlington, Bennington County, Vermont, 2 June 1824, and died 3 January 1910 in Lawrence, Nuckolls County, Nebraska.

 

He married, at Lansingburg, Rensselaer County, New York, 29 June 1866, Ophelia Adelaide, daughter of Mason and Dorcas (Conant) LaSelle, who was born 5 April 1841. She married as her first husband, George Hotchkiss/Hotchkin of Lansingburg, New York.

 

The family removed to Lawrence, Nuckolls County, Nebraska, where they were living in 1900.
