3224 CHARLES SENECA BENJAMIN⁸ (Albert L.⁷, Charles⁶, Darius⁵, Benjamin⁴, George³, John², Johannes¹), son of Albert L. and Mary Frances (Hicks) Oatman, was born 31 March 1890 near South Norwich Township, Oxford County, Ontario, died 24 May 1956 in London, Middlesex County, Ontario, and was buried 26 May 1956 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in London.

On 31 December 1908, Yarmouth, Ontario, he married Nellie M. Pearl Brown (picture), daughter of John Franklin and Eliza (Tubbs) Brown. Pearl was born 26 January 1890 in North Norwich Township, Oxford County, died 25 October 1968 in Ingersoll, Oxford County, and was buried 28 October 1968 next to Charlie at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in London.

Charlie was a farmer and was well known locally for the horseradish he made.

Bunce, but she was given the simple initial rather than the unusual name. She m. George Wilfred Murray, 13 Jun 1941, at Toronto United Church, ON. George was b. 11 Apr 1908, Foldens Corners, West Oxford Co., ON; christened in the Presbyterian Church at Ingersoll, ON; d. 15 Oct 1976 in Ingersoll, and is buried in the Harris Street Cemetery in Ingersoll. He was the son of William James Murray (b. in the U.S.) and Harriet M. Laing from Aberdeen, Scotland. George was a farmer. They had no children.
