362 ASAHEL OATMAN, JR.

362 ASAHEL, JR.⁶ (Asahel⁵, Benjamin⁴, George³, John², Johannes¹), son of Asahel and Sarah (Parker) Oatman, was born 6 June 1806, Cooperstown, Otsego County, New York, and died 25 December 1863, Norwich, Oxford County, Ontario, Canada.

He married Sarah, daughter of Levi and Nellie Fox, on 22 October 1829, "both of Norwich. Witnesses: Levi Fox, Asahel Oatman, Sr."

In 1851, Nellie Fox, aged 80, widow of Levi, was living with her daughter Sarah and son-in-law Asahel. The family were farmers and of the Baptist faith.
