3910 RALPH ISAAC OATMAN

3910 RALPH ISAAC⁸ (Isaac B.⁷, Isaac H.⁶, Elisha⁵, Isaac⁴, George³, John², Johannes¹), son of Isaac Benjamin and Christine (Smith) Oatman, was born at Salem, Washington County, New York, 6 July 1908. He was educated at Washington Academy, Salem, two years; Troy Conference Academy, Poultney, Vermont, one year; Morse College, Hartford, Connecticut, one year; and employed by Colt's Patent Firearms Company after leaving Morse College until May 1928, when he entered the service of Aetna Life Insurance Company of Hartford.

He married, 1 August 1931, Helen Elizabeth, daughter of Harry Edward and Lizzie May (Wilson) Parkhurst; she was born 25 October 1902. The family resided in Hartford, Connecticut, and Utica, New York. Ralph died 14 Auguat 1994 in Avon, Hartford County, Connecticut.

Ralph was the co-author of the original Oatman History.
