4601 FLOYD A.⁹ (Edgar J.⁸, Edgar⁷, Simeon⁶, Peleg⁵, Daniel⁴, George³, John², Johannes¹), son of Edgar J. and May (Adams) Oatman, was born 9 November 1899 in Massachusetts, and died in October 1970 in West Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts.

He married Lois Thompson, who was born 11 April 1901, and died in January 1983 in West Springfield, Massachusetts, where the family had resided. Floyd was Secretary of the Adams Nurseries in Westfield, Massachusetts.
