5001 HALSEY E. OATMAN

5001 HALSEY E.⁸ (Edward Merrick⁸, Halsey⁷, Richard⁶, Isaac⁵, Samuel⁴, George³, John², Johannes¹), son of Edward Merrick and Minnie (Jimeson) Oatman, was born 21 March 1900 at Adams Center, Jefferson County, New York, and died April 1957 in Mercy Hospital, Watertown, New York. He was buried in North Watertown Cemetery, Watertown, New York.

He married Ethel Piper on 4 September 1925 while residing in Pierrepont Manor, moving to Watertown, New York, the following year, where he was an employee of the Hygienic Dairy Company, later working for George H. Hyde Plumbing and Heating Company until 1944. He also worked for various electrical construction companies until his final illness.
