5004 HAROLD J.⁹ (Edward Merrick⁸, Halsey⁷, Richard⁶, Isaac⁵, Samuel⁴, George³, John², Johannes¹son of Edward Merrick and Minnie (Jimeson) Oatman, was born 27 September 1906, and died in June 1943 in Adams, New York. He and his wife are buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Adams, New York. His name was given as Harold “K.” in his obituary, but Harold “J” in his wife’s information.

He married Louise Stokes who was born in Adams Center, New York on 11 July 1911, a daughter of Nathaniel and Bessie Doran Stokes. She and Harold were married in 1929 in Adams Center, where they lived all their married life. Louise died 27 April 1987 in Mercy Hospital, Watertown, New York.
