5852     MURRAY JAMES HARRISON OATMAN

 

 

5852    MURRAY JAMES HARRISON9     (William H.8, Albert L.7, Charles6, Darius5, Benjamin4, George3, John2, Johannes1), son of William H. and Erie (Chambers) Oatman, was born at Tillsonburg, Oxford County, Ontario, 11 January 1923.  He married Geraldine Lindsay, 28 December 1944.

 

Murray served in the Armed Services from 16 November 1942 until 26 January 1946 in Canada, England, France and Belgium.  He moved to New Westminster, British Columbia, in May 1947.  He learned plumbing and heating trade and worked at it for 32 years.  He retired in 1979 to Peachland, British Columbia, and ten years later moved to Kelowna, British Columbia.
