I have set up and administer the genealogical websites oatman.ca and birdsall.ca

I was born in Tillsonburg, Ontario and grew up on the Oatman farm at Lot 5, Con 3, NTR in Middleton Township, Norfolk County, Ontario

I attended Annandale High School and spent my working career in Guelph, Etobicoke and Mississauga, Ontario. I attended the University of Guelph briefly in the 1970’s and attained a Masters of Business Administration at University of Western Ontario in 2001.

In the sixties, I grew up with horses, snowmobiles and dirt bikes. I was a middle distance runner in high school and since 2002 I have been a passionate long distance runner, having completed over 100 full marathons, four 100 mile foot races and a multitude of distances in between. I am proud of my running career. My marathon stats can be viewed here.

I am currently retired and living in Rockwood, Ontario, Canada
