6          JOHN3     (John2, Johannes1), son of John and Isabelle (Williams) Outman, was baptized in Stratford, Connecticut, Episcopal Church 27 May 1722 (record of Rev. George Piggott).  He married, but died without issue in 1749.

The Will of John Outman was probated 10 October 1749 in the County of Fairfield, Colony of Connecticut.  Besides two witnesses, the signers of the Inventory of John's estate are Elizabeth Outman "Widow and relict" and George Outman, his brother.

In Early Connecticut Marriages as Found on Ancient Church Records Prior to 1800, (Ed. Frederic W. Bailey, 1968), a marriage is listed in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut, on 20 August 1747 between John Outman and Elisabeth Bennet (Smith).  Elisabeth was the widow of William Bennet and had two children.  History and Genealogy of the Families of Old Fairfield, p. 574, states that William Smith, whose will was proven 30 January 1748/9, named a daughter, Elizabeth, wife of John Oatman, Jr.
