2702 HORACE HURD⁸ (Charles Russell⁷, Horace⁶, Elisha⁵, Samuel⁴, George³, John², Johannes¹), son of Charles Russell and Orinda F. (Hurd) Oatman, was born 23 October 1860 in Southbury, Connecticut, and died 9 October 1937 in Milford, Connecticut.

On 9 May 1883 in Oxford, Connecticut, he married Eva J. Bartlett, who was born 8 May 1860 in Freeport, Illinois, and died 14 November 1951 in Bethany, Connecticut. She was the daughter of James H. Bartlett (born 7 October 1829, Millbrook, New York, died 1909), and Phoebe Beach (born 1837, died 1865, Adams County, Illinois).
