383 GEORGE OATMAN
The 1830 census of Jefferson County, New York, lists a George Oatman as the head of a household containing one male under five and one male aged 20-30, with no females. If this is the same family, it would place George's birth date in the vicinity of 1800-1810, with the small child being his son George, born 1829.
Although George is not listed in the 1851 census of South Norwich, he is living there in 1861 with his son Warren and his family. He apparently died between 1861 and 1871, as he is not listed later.
A George Oatman is listed as being on the Board of Overseers of Highways in Oxford County, Ontario, on January 1838, but it is unknown if this is the same George Oatman.

She was then living with her daughter Ermina and son-in-law Henry Van Luven.
